These chess pieces are modeled in the "Lardy" Staunton style.
The dark pieces are carved from rosewood, and the white from boxwood.
All pieces are double weighted, with felted bases and display a good deal of detail and character.

We say:
A great looking mid range set, nicely sized and weighted - we recommend chessboards around 16-18 inches square.

Note: Please bear in mind that this is a natural wood product and that the wood grain and color may vary slightly from set to set.
