This chess set is identical to our 3.75 inch chess set with German knights, except this set contains French style knights.
The dark pieces are carved from sheesham, and the white from boxwood.
The chess pieces are single weighted, with felted bases and French style knights (characterized by horizontal noses and ears flat against the head.)

We say:
A great looking "budget" set, nicely sized and ideal for chessboards around 16 inches square.
