According to Indian history, Chetak is the name of the legendary horse belonging to Rana Pratap Singh that reportedly saved its master in the battle at Haldighati in 1576 A.D.
As a testament, the knights are masterfully carved by only the finest craftsmen and the set is triple-weighted for a perfect balance and great feel.
The extra broad bases add stability during play, and the leather padded bottoms round off what is a simply exquisite chess set of style and beauty.
This set includes an Extra Queen of each color as an added bonus!
