This is our largest mahogany and maple chess board.
This board is constructed using European veneers of top quality and is nicely finished off with a frame just under 1" wide.
Mahogany is a tight, straight grained wood, with a rich reddish brown color.

We say:
This board offers a delightfully smooth playing surface that polishes up wonderfully.
We recommend larger sized chess pieces in complementary colors to match this board.
Chess sets having a king around 4 Inches tall are ideal.
