This is our smallest walnut and maple chess board. The board is finished in a top quality veneer and is presented without a frame.
The walnut is a deep chocolate color and is quite "earthy" in appearance, with generally tight, straight wood grain effects.

We say:
This board is ideally matched with a small to medium sized set of similarly colored chess pieces, sheesham being an excellent choice!
We recommend sets with a king around 3.5 Inches tall.
