This is a triple-weighted, Exclusive Staunton style chess set in rosewood and boxwood.
The pieces in this set display intricate detailing and expert workmanship, especially evident in the knight and crowns of the royal pieces.
With extra broad felted bases (the king's base is 1.8 inches), and substantial weighting, holding and playing with these pieces is a delightfully tactile experience.

This is a well weighted, nicely balanced and classy chess set of above average detail, in keeping with the Staunton tradition.
The extra wide base requires a larger chess board - we recommend at least 18 inches, or squares around 2.2 inches when possible.
