This is a double-weighted, French Staunton style chess set made from sheesham and boxwood.
This set has an interestingly designed knight and the pieces have broad felted bases (the king's base is 1.7 inches) and displays fine craftsmanship.

The wide base means a larger size chessboard is required - we recommend at least 17 inches
